Originally from Edmonton, I did my MSc. in Ecology in Ontario before moving to Fernie in 2020.  Before starting Kootenay Tails and Trails I had a wide range of outdoor careers, from horseback trail guiding to outdoor education to biological consulting. My favourite thing to do is just be outside - I feel so lucky to get to live in the Elk Valley! I grew up with dogs and have been walking dogs for several years, and am so grateful to be able to help the Fernie community provide the best care possible for their furry friends. My goals for pet care are consistency and lots of positive reinforcement. I will truly treat every animal in my care as if they were my own.
