I'm originally from Edmonton and did my MSc. in Ecology in Ontario before moving to Fernie over two years ago.  Before starting Kootenay Tails and Trails I had a wide range of outdoor careers, from horseback trail guiding to outdoor education to biological consulting. My favourite thing to do is just be outside and I love exploring the Elk Valley - I feel so lucky to get to live here! I grew up with dogs and have been walking dogs for several years, and am so excited to help the Fernie community take the best care possible of their furry best friends. My goals for pet care are consistency and lots of positive reinforcement. I will truly treat every dog in my care as if they were my own.
